A highly flexible round steel core is wrapped with a silk layer that dampens excess overtones and provides exceptional smoothness. The outer winding, made from a special nickel alloy, is a true flatwound. The result is an incredibly deep, fundamental-focused tone that no other flatwound string achieves. The strings offer more brightness, stronger response, and better midrange reproduction than typical flatwounds. Gauges .043 to .100. Made in Vienna.
