Construction and spare parts
A Kun rest consists of a few parts that can each be renewed: the end members with their drums, the nut, the feet with their threaded screws and the rubber cover.
The foot screws come in three lengths: 15 mm short (#311MS), 22 mm long (#311ML) and 33 mm extra long (#311MXL). The extra long screw is always combined with a standard screw on the other side. A short full size foot weighs 6 g, a foot for sizes 1/4 to 1/8 weighs 4 g.
End members are model specific: the Original, Collapsible, Super, Solo and Bravo each have their own parts. Original and Collapsible end members look alike but differ in size and are not interchangeable. Latex tubing #313 belongs to the classic feet with a slip on cover.
Our experience
With every spare part enquiry we first clarify three things: the model, the size and the part concerned. That way the right end member arrives first time.
