Protection in the case
The Götz violin bag is made of extra-thick, heavy, breathable microfibre and closes with a drawcord. It fits violins in 4/4 and 3/4.
In the case it lies between varnish and lining: it keeps dust and rosin dust off the varnish, and at bow holders and lining seams the thick fibre cushions the contact. For short distances, say from the car to the rehearsal room, it gives the instrument basic protection.
