Protection and climate
BAM's hoodies are close-fitting rain covers, cut for each case family and not transferable to other forms. The naming follows the case: HO2000XL fits every case with 2000XL in its name, including PANT2000XL, HO2002XL fits the Contoured violin cases including OP2002XL, and HO2200XL fits the 2200XL viola cases. The last letter denotes the colour, for example G for grey, N for black, M for brown, R for red and VT for violet.
The BF versions have a leather inset. The Submarine model for the 2200XL viola case is made of 1.8 mm neoprene, is water-repellent and has a front pocket for a phone.
