BAM's hoodies are close-fitting rain covers, cut for each case family and not transferable to other forms. The last letter denotes the colour, for example G for grey, N for black, M for brown, R for red and VT for violet.
The BF versions have a leather inset. The Submarine model for the 2200XL viola case is made of 1.8 mm neoprene, is water-repellent and has a front pocket for a phone.
