How it works
BAM's cleaning cloths are made of microfibre in a polyester and polyamide blend that combines two fibre types, one for absorption and the other for shine. For string instruments there is the CC-0003 in size M, 40 × 30 cm, for violin, viola and cello, and the CC-0004 in size L, 60 × 40 cm, for cello and double bass; for wind instruments there is the CC-0001 at 30 × 40 cm. The CC-0003 string cloth has a double-layer corner for the strings and fingerboard, while the rest of the cloth is for the varnish. The cloth is machine washed, and only with other microfibre textiles, so that no foreign fibres get into it.
