Thomastik Rondo Violin 4/4, ST-RO100-SET44

Rondo is one of the newer premium developments from Vienna. The violin strings convince with a rich, highly focused tone at reduced overall tension, the instrument stays mechanically relieved without losing tonal volume.

This combination of less pressure and more sound is especially attractive for instruments whose top plate tends to "close up" quickly under higher tension. Rondo opens up the tonal space here and creates greater modulation ability across all positions.

In addition to the regular version, an "XP" set is available that works with further reduced tension on the A string. It suits players looking for an especially sensitive response and a velvety tonal character.
