In practice

• With the guitar rest both feet stay on the floor while the instrument still sits at playing height.
• The practical difference from the common systems: this rest works with a clamp instead of suction cups. That is the choice for delicate finishes or ones suction cups will not hold on.
• Before first use, check the contact points and tighten the clamp only as far as it needs to hold.
