Carrying and ergonomics
The 9036 Ergonomic Backpack for cello cases attaches at three points, once at the neck and twice at the hip, has a removable hip belt with an accessory pocket and an integrated music pocket, and weighs around 1.15 kg with the hip belt. BAM builds the A+ backpack for Hightech-style cases, and for rolling there is the Iconic trolley by David Garrett in grey and black.
Our experience
We do not stand a case upright with the backpack harness fitted, as its centre of gravity makes it tip; we prefer to lay it down.
