Protection and climate
The 1002H flight cover for the cello case is made of an outer shell of elastomer ABS, an extra-thick layer of high-density polyurethane foam, three handles and two wheels. It measures 138.5 × 53.5 × 35 cm inside and 145 × 62 × 42 cm outside, with a weight of around 9.1 kg.
With normal handling, the Hightech case underneath protects well, even with other luggage on top of it.
