The CONTEMPORARY series offers a fresh perspective on the classical instrument. With a minimalist design, precise craftsmanship, and an open, wide-ranging tonal palette, this line is aimed at musicians who pursue contemporary paths without compromising on quality.
The features combine functionality and aesthetics: a flat ebony chinrest, an original Götz bridge with ebony-reinforced E-string saddle, and custom-made Götz pegs in the distinctive “Bean-Shape” form. The setup is complemented by black precision fine tuners for the E string and durable Thomastik Spirocore strings – ensuring stability and tonal fidelity in daily playing.
The hand-applied finish in a reddish-brown hue is intentionally matte. The closed varnish surface emphasizes the series’ clear character – minimalist, modern, and ready for new musical horizons.
